Data is downloaded from the cars ECU to find engine component limits (to prevent component damage) and areas that have the potential for improvements, similar to a remap. The Diesel Pro unit then utilizes this info in different ways.
The Diesel Pro will allow you to gain a massive increase in low to mid range torque and impressive horsepower gains compared to conventional tuning boxes because of microprocessor speed allowing more accurate fueling.
This units features 5 selectable preloaded tuning fuel maps. The tunes range from low down torque (ideal for towing and 4x4 4wd driving) to an all out performance map. Change it to suit your driving style.
(If you're interested in even more power, The Diesel Pro tuning module also available with boost control (on most vehicles) to increase turbocharger output providing even larger power and torque gains (up to 35%) called the Diesel Pro + Boost.
The Pro + Boost modules also utilize BoostSense software, unique to Bluespark Automotive. This uses the turbo sensor rather than increasing turbocharger boost, which allows the module to modify the fuelling rate in a more incremental manner. This greatly reduces off boost smoke and takes care of your valuable and expensive DPF (diesel particulate filter).

On a majority of vehicles, fitting can be done in less than 10 minutes. There are a few exceptions - they are 1.6 HDi and 1.6 TDCi engines, which require mechanical skill to install.
